I imagine even the most successful writers never get tired of seeing their books featured in their local libraries. For a first-time author it was a wonderful experience. Gonzo Reader, social media critic based in Los Angeles, reviewed Asesina: “Got a promotional copy from the publisher—finally a chica who rocks. First fifty pages grab your ass, but don’t know why the publisher has distribution in the U.S. and Europe but nothing in Mexico and Latin America. Book needs to be translated to Spanish. Juarez scene is very hot. Read this rag—”
Book donations of Asesina made it through to VA hospitals in Texas and Oklahoma. Hoped to offer a small bit of diversion for those patients affected by the freezing weather. Special thanks to Operation Paperback and my publisher, Black Rose Writing.
